Andrew Morchower, MD, MPH, is a fellowship-trained interventional spine and pain management physician and is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He specializes in pain management treatments and Botox ® for neck pain. At OmniSpine Pain Management in Frisco and Mesquite, Texas, Dr. Morchower utilizes a wide range of minimally invasive techniques and musculoskeletal ultrasound to relieve pain.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Dr. Morchower earned his medical degrees, as well as a Master of Public Health from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his interventional spine and pain fellowship with Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists in York, Pennsylvania. Prior to fellowship, he completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern Medicine Center.
Dr. Morchower has presented both nationally and internationally on topics related to the management of pain and continues to keep up with the most current approaches to pain management. He is consistently listed as one of D Magazine's Top Doctors since 2014. In addition to his work at OmniSpine Pain Management, Dr. Morchower is on the clinical faculty at TCU to train other providers in the newest pain management techniques.
His care philosophy centers on understanding each patient and their unique chronic pain experience. He strives to partner with his patients by educating them on the best options for treatment while giving them a renewed sense of hope.
Dr. Morchower takes a unique approach to pain management, as his background includes both physical medicine and interventional pain management training. As a result of his experience, he is able to communicate with your Physical Therapist, Chiropractor, or Spine Surgeon/Neurosurgeon if needed. Many patients refer to him as "the conductor" of their pain care.
